It's well known that passion is passed on. At Gillen, our passion for plants and gardening is passed down from generation to generation. That's why, for several decades now, we've been putting all our know-how at the service of your green desires!

Our history
Gillen's story began in 1978, when Jules Gillen set up his own business in Tandel, in the North of Luxembourg. At the time, Gillen mainly sold trees and shrubs, and offered gardening services to private customers.
Over the years, the company gained a certain notoriety. The quality of the service and the plants had a lot to do with it. With loyal customers and increasing demand, Jules Gillen decided to expand his business. Little by little, the nursery expanded to cover more and more surface area. The species on offer grew and became more diverse. Customers can now choose their tree according to size and shape from a multitude of varieties. The choice of plants is also multiplying: perennials, grasses, solitaires, balcony plants, shrubs, flowers... But not only that: Gillen's Garden Center also offers potting soils, wood chips and fertilisers.
Originally made up of gardeners, Gillen continued to increase its services by integrating landscape architects into its team. A design office offers a complete service to help you put your projects on the drawing board.
Gillen today
We are happy to welcome you at our nursery and Garden Center in Tandel, to answer all your questions and give you advice on planting, trees and shrubs. One of the widest selections in the country is waiting to be discovered.
But Gillen is not only a Garden Center, we also have a whole team of landscape architects and technicians at your disposal to design a garden or outdoor layout fully customised to your needs and tastes. And to ensure that your garden keeps its original look and feel, we have construction professionals to take care of all structural work, earthworks and paving, and gardeners and botanical experts to look after your flowerbeds and garden.
