Care Instructions

As with all living things, minimal care is required to ensure the continued development of your tree. To ensure that you can spend a joyful Christmas celebration with your tree, we kindly ask you to follow these care instructions.

General instructions:

• Your tree should not be kept in a heated living room for too long (max. 14
  days, the shorter the better).
• As it is a living tree, your tree needs to be watered regularly: at least 2-3 dl (one glass) of water every day.
• Your tree loves being sprayed with water every 1-2 days.

Setting up and decorating the Christmas tree:

• Your tree should not be placed in close proximity to heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces or lamps. If you have underfloor heating, we recommend placing the tree on a wooden base or raised platform so that it does not come into direct contact with the warm floor.
• The tree top is the most important feature of the tree and must not be damaged under any circumstances! Otherwise, the tree can no longer be used.

After Christmas:

• Remove all decorations without damaging the branches.
• Slowly reacclimatise the tree to the cold temperatures outside by first placing it in a moderately heated room (e.g. stairwell, basement, garage, not below 0°C).
• Continue to water the tree.
• After collection, we acclimatise the tree to the winter cold at our premises in Tandel.
